As time goes by...

My mantra is this: Today, this minute, this second, is the youngest I’ll ever be. Say it.

That may sound counter intuitive, but God willing I’ll be getting older by the second for a long long time to come.

Have you ever found yourself looking at photos from days gone by and thinking, OMG, I was sooo young then, I looked sooo good back then!

It occurred to me a few years ago that I don’t want to be the person that wistfully says how good I looked 10 years ago, and 10 years from now will be saying the same thing. Why can’t I appreciate who I am NOW. Right now is the youngest I’m ever going to be.

It’s a journey of celebrating who I am now, warts and all, to live, love, learn and laugh!

There is one thing I do know, and that is that age cannot define how I think or feel or act. Of course, I can get younger in my head!! Definitely trying for that in how much I am learning.
