A friend of mine’s having an art show
I declined because my ankle’s sore
she said she be sad if I didn’t visit
There are chairs, she added, you can sit

I’ve no clue what the purpose would be
to not move around in an art gallery
unless one sits still and gazes a lot
pondering the meaning of a little dot
